A very cool morning greated the racers as they drove thru the gate in Avon. Being the last race of the BKC season I thought we would have a better turnout but we had five to race for the best poker hand. The leaves were blowing but the sun warmed up the track to make a wonderful fall day. A rare appearence from Nick was nice as he gave taylor a run along with Rick. I had fun playing with Ken,a new karter and friend of Rick. the pits were packed with another group of tag racers. In the end Rick had the high hand, nick had the second best,and I had the third. The prizes we provided by the club and the hard work of treasurer Don Stroka.
I was out of own until late Friday night and didn't see the reschedule. It would have been hard for me to make it out anyways, but I hope a good time was had by all.
