A very special thanks to all the members that took the time and put this season together. Avon is a great facility and a thanks to there members for the warm welcome .... From a dark and dizmal start of the the year to nothing but smile at this camp.... Great Job
Ditto Don, If not for everyone doing there part this last off season we would not have survived. We all miss our Batavia track but the folks at Avon were great and it should be a good season. Hope everyone gets a chance to get out for the next race, and put a full field of Batavia karts out there to watch.
I am looking forward to an exceptional year of racing, with only ten races every race is an event that I can look forward to. Summer is very short and with less races I get to spend time doing other hobbies I enjoy. With the economy being the way it is, the financial drain will be bearable. For the last few years I have been fielding at least two karts,sometimes three, between race fees and maintenance my budget was on life support. Going to different venues makes the racing more interesting. I know its a longer drive but I'm sure everyone will have a great time because as a group we can make it that way. Having Fun is the goal. I had a blast Sunday beating all you guys.
