Today was a very important day in the history of the BKC. With the news that our home track will not operate this year the members in attendance agreed to keep the club viable and run a twelve race schedule at select tracks. We will utilize our rule package and classes. We realize that making this a travel organization was never in the plans and that it produces hardships for some. We will be working on a schedule that should be entertaining and we will make racing fun.
In other news we have agreed to use the burris 55 tires as a cost saving measure. the use of any bridgestone tires will be permitted until after the forth race in the season. more on this later.
The BKC has new officers, Hank Kacala-vice president, Don Stolka- treasurer. Mike Polizzi will return for another year as publicity director and I was again prodded into the presidency. We still need a Secertary. Thank you for stepping up.
We need you to make this club strong this year! You can do this by renewing your dues and by lending a hand to our fellow racers who don't have the equipment to travel. AS A GROUP, WE ARE STRONG!

Do we know if the forum is a regualr destination for many club members? If not, they may not know what is going on. Do we have a way to get an email message or snail mail letter to the membership so we can get them to log on and weigh in.

The web site & forum has always been the only communications the club has with its members. I have informed others about the track on other forums but have a few more to follow up on. If you know anyone who needs to know, word of mouth is still the best.
