can someone explain the difference between cool power green and gold. According to there web site, one (gold) is a synthetic. When I bought the kart from Jim, I was told to run med. green. Well dumb ass me I ordered gold by mistake and the amount of $ to return it I could almost buy new. I would like to run it ............ or ???????? some help in this area would and will be nice Thanks Don
Don, I would be concerned with the compatability of the two oils even though they are made by the same company. I would flush the engine and then replace the oil with the gold. run it for a short time and replace it again. There is a great comparison of mixing oil on the Faster motors site. We did a little experiment in my shop and its amazing how diffrent oils won't mix.
