I would run the factory suggested natural oil (non synthetic) for a half hour and being easy on the engine. Then put what ever racing oil you want in it and have at it. just my opinion.
everyone has their own opinion on this subject so I will give you mine. We usually use regular engine oil for the initial running. we let the engine idle for about ten to 15 minutes with a few short taps of the throttle or until the engine is up to operating temperature. Shut it off and let it cooldown. we call it stone cold. change the oil to your race oil and when you get to the track you will want to take it easy but use full power out of the corners and coast to the next. this puts the engine under load and seats in the rings. change the oil again and race the engine. You will find that the engine will become faster as it is raced. again, everyone has their own method.
