I know it doesn't seem like there a lot happening but be assured that a bunch of stuff is happening behind the scenes. First off, is all the effort that went into the Cavalcade show. I must say thank you to Don Stroka, Craig Drabik, Mike Schlager for their karts. Without the help of Hank Kacala none of the stuff would have made it to the Ag center and back home again. Thanks to the members who "manned" the display and answered many questions. Too many hours were spent updating the Official Competition rule's and will be published as soon as they pass the proof readers test. We have some new rules this year. A new rear bumper will be enforce and we have a new tire to use. The Decuzzi tire will be the official tire but you can use up your Burris tires. We will come up with a cutoff point for the Burris. We have made the switch to try to keep costs in check. A set is only 125.00 and you should get long life from them. We added a new World Formula medium class and changed the minimum weights in a few. The only clutch allowed for competition in animal senior will be the Premier Titan. This is the same clutch used by the WF classes and is readily available and inexpensive. The class weights have remained the same except when running a Yamaha in WF. We hope to have a few more racers this year using the Yamaha engine and I am happy to announce that we will have a few more Junior drivers. We will have a meeting about two weeks before the season begin's. J.Simpson has a provisional schedule but we are waiting on a few of the tracks to publish theirs so that we can finalize ours. As soon as we have confirmation we will publish all this good stuff. stay tuned!
