I recently spoke with Mark Dismore Sr. of Comet Kart Sales and it turns out he is NOT the person I need to speak to regarding Bridgestone promotional programs. He was kind enough to give me the name of the distributor contact at Grand Products, PA. that he feels I need to speak to.

...As it turns out, bridgestone won't be able to do anything for us until the Fall at the earliest, more than likely not until the beginning of next season.

As was discussed at our last meeting, the club should purchase a set of tires to raffle, and open it up to participation by the Cherry Valley karters and any other local tracks that may be running Bridgesones. (We should think about raffling a set of rains too) While we're at it, series awards should be discussed at our next meeting for handing out at the banquet. If we put something together in time before the Fall series, we could give folks more to race for than a sticker and our attentance will rise.
