Not sure about time but the track should be "A" as that is on the schedule for Sunday.

"doesn't anybody go out to play anymore???"
No offense, but that is what Sunday is for. Let me know when you might like to play on Sunday and I'll gladly pull the shifter out of moth balls

I think we have been through this before already...
sat, cheaper to run, sat, can get more track time in less hours..
you dont win money to race karts so sat works just fine for me...
I race motorcycles for money, i find it intersting that there are usually just as many people at that track on "practice" days as there is on race days???
so how many karts are coming out on sundays to race? from what your saying it sounds like there are no other shifters out there running?

I believe there were around 20+ karts this week. Low,Yes. That is in part to the present day economy and fuel prices cutting into expendable incomes. Kart racing participation changes as racers change sports or move up to cars. I know Sundays are out for some for whatever reasons but, Racing with the club has advantages. There are seasoned racers there to help you in your quest for speed. You get to form friendships and see them most every week unlike the practice days in which participation may fluctuate more. Maybe the club should race on Saturday if that would help participation.
As for the # of shifters....There are only two of us I know that show up to race them at this time. And I'm not sure if Bill is till around. Going out to play with a shifter might be entertaining enough for some. For others, running one in competition is what drives us. There is a BIG difference in just doing laps and racing. I am not sure of you current skill level in a shifter, but if you are in the sub 33 second range you can understand where I am coming from. The 50 or so laps we get on a race day is more than enough in one day for most drivers energy levels, At least in the 40+ crowd.
P.S. Will, tell your dad to stop working his life away and come out to play!!!

running when nobody else there is boring, that was kinda my point.....
if theres only you coming out with a shifter than it kinda confirms my thoughts, why spend a better part of a sunday and spend more $$ just to run against one other person...
i have run in the 34's with mine, i have only run used slicks on it so i have no idea what it would do with a new set of slicks on it?? unfortanely i forgot my beacon at home and well since nobody else was there who had one i wasnt able to log any lap times to see where i was running for lap time this past weekend..... i dont know if i will be out again this year, i had a little mishap!!!! spun the shifter out finally and the rear rotor got into the rumble strips, the rotor has some pieces missing now!!!!

OH, the dreaded dragon teeth got you. Yes, they are nasty.
Ya, racing against one is not as much fun as 5 or 10 or 20. There are a few World formula packages available around the track. We could use more drivers in the heavy division if that works for you. Not as fast as the shifter I know, but it teaches you to be smooth. I was turning 35.6's Sunday, Lights are about 34.7's I believe. If you get a hold of a new disk and are going out let me know ahead of time and maybe I'll get out on a Saturday.
And if it is still straight with no major chunks or cracks all the way through you can still run it. There are plenty of chipped up rotors running out there.

nah, just 3 chunks out of it, i ran it after it happened. somehow my tank got a crack in it also, i have to tell you that its scares ya when you smell gas and look down and your leg is soaked in gas!!! thought i was gonna be a moving roman candle!!! still cant figure out how it possibly got cracked, it was at the top corner of the tank. the tank seems very brittle so i need to score a new tank also.
i weigh 198lb
