This is the actual press relese I wrote and sent; The Batavia Kart Club enjoyed a very sucessful first season as promoters of kart racing at the famous Batavia kart track. Since last october members have been responsible for staging weekly karting events. The twenty-one week sehedule began in April and was finalized with the Octoberfest Gran prix. Families from the Rochester and Buffalo areas enjoyed great racing to fuel their passion for motorsports. The awards banquet will be held november 6th at the Day's In Batavia. overall class winers are katie Evans Junior1, Jesse Johnston Junior3, Bobby Trimper World Formula Lite and Dave Evans World Formula heavy.
