Update By Jim Pelletterie,

NOW THATS RACIN! We conqured Bliss on a beautiful day and even a nicer night as the Batavia Kart Club put on a driving clinic for all the little Dale Earnhearts who think you need to drive thru your competition. Joe Barber and his lovely wife Madonna welcomed us with reduced race fees and a two dollar chicken dinner. I forgot to thank Payton's Mom for the beautifully decorated and delicious cupcakes for dessert. We ran a heat race and then a twenty lap feature. The WF lite feature was the most exciting as lauren and taylor tangled a few times as Nick was up front but yellow flags bunched them back up as they lined up shootout style. Lauren got a jump on Nick as they battled lap after lap with Taylor sticking her nose in there. Nick was on a mission as the white lap waved and made a move in corner four that produced a drag race to the line. Lauren held Nick off by inches for her first win in WF with Taylor a close third. Jessie was on rails and drove away from the pack as I ran second for the first part of the race with Mike Polizzi and Craig Drabek within inches of my bumper. My kart was loose all night and Mike put on a nice move to get by with craig breathing down my neck. a few laps later Craig drove by and I finished a respectable fourth. Rick Hoyt finished the feature with severly bruised ribs and he will pay in pain for the honor. Payton won the Jr 1 feature with a smiling Riley Mckie chasing him. An excellent race night with great racing and dinner to boot. Next stop Cherry Valley. Jim
