We are going to have one last race for the 2010 season. On October 24th at Avon we will hold the Great Pumkin poker race. you don't need to win the race to win. Mr Simpson has worked day & night to come up with a format that will be fun and entertaining. Prizes will be awarded for the three top hands of poker. All the rules will be explained the morning of the event. THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. Please mark your calender.
Unfortunately Riley won't be able to attend the final event. He has gotten himself into trouble with his school work and needs to refocus himself. Thanks for your support this past season - we look forward to active participation next year.

What a great day of racing. We had ten karts on the grid for some close racing and a bit of fun. This race was a poker race. Every driver was able to pick a card at the special drivers meeting and then each driver received a card at the completion of each heat race and then a final card at the end of the feature. Vice president and poker shark Hank Kacala handled the cards all afternoon. At the end of the day we all showed our hands and Craig drabek had the third best hand and nick kacala had the second best but the big winner with a pair of aces was... wait for it... Me. I took home a twenty five dollar gift card to Wegmans. I had a blast driving today as I tried very hard to catch my son. I was not sucessful in catching and passing him but was the big winner at the end of the day. See you at the banquet.
