It seems like we can't catch a break lately. We arrived at the little oval in Bliss to find we were the first racers in the pit area. We are just used to getting to the track in the morning and starting our raceday routine but I guess roundy-round racers have other ideas. Joe Barber was the master of BBQ chicken as his two buck chicken dinner was a highlite. Practice was fun on a green track trying to shake the cobwebs loose. If you have never raced at Bliss all I can say its fast confusion. The heats are completed very quickly and the next class moves on the racing surface as the karts are comming off the track. We are used to a bit slower pace so this is fun but a challange. The heat races were quick and without incident. The feature races followed quickly as Jacob Lewczyk bested Payton in the Jr class. It was nice to see Dan Porter and daughter Danica at the races. Danica did a very good job on her first time on a oval. The WF classes were next but again Mother nature decided that it wasn't in her best interest. The track called the program and we were forced to load up and head for home. We are back at Avon next week for the last points paying race. Lets hope Mother nature sleeps in late.

Race #10 was run last weekend as a makeup. Points are fully updated.

P.S. If no one objects I say we give Jason First place points for the original race #10 as he showed up

Per our rule book (page 25):

14.6.3 - Rain out
In the event of poor weather conditions a rain out will be declared before any heat races are
run and be canceled for the day. If some classes have run heat races they will be issued
feature position points based on their finished position. Classes that have not run a heat will
have rain out points awarded which are all first place points.

Keep reading Grass-Hopper There is much to learn...

P.S.P.S. Points are updated....Again....Hopefully, correctly this time.
