Battery Box 5 Years, 3 Months ago

Can anyone give me some ideas about where I can buy a battery holder? I bought a battery, 6"L X 3 1/2"W X 4 1/2"H. I can't seem to find a supplier for a battery holder to fit.
What are our safety spec's for holding the battery to a support? Is a bongie cord or a steel band sufficient? If I have to make one I can. I just want to make one that conforms to safety tech. Thanks.
Peter

Peter, the battery box must be very securely mounted, Bolted or clamped (preferred) to a tube. bungee cords will not be allowed. I have seen them advertized but can't remember where

Jim,
Thanks for the reply. I can't believe the guy would even suggest a bongie cord. I have a box designed that will bolt solidly to the chassis, and the battery clamped over the top.
Thanks again,
Peter
