Rain / wet conditions are defined as a wet track without deep standing water or heavy
running water on the surface. Heavy downpours or the presence of electrical storms are not
acceptable wet weather conditions.
When a race has started under dry conditions and wet weather conditions occur
necessitating a red flag, the event will be considered complete if one-half or more of the
scheduled laps have been completed. If the race needs to be restarted the race director will
declare wet weather conditions and provide the competitors a reasonable amount of time
(approx.15 min.) to switch to wet weather tires.
All competitors must mount wet weather tires to continue as long as wet weather conditions
apply. No slick tires will be allowed. Modified, grooved dry tires will not be permitted. Only
production type rain tires are permitted. In all classes any type rain tire is acceptable.
