Awhile ago i created a Facebook page for the BKC, so that anyone who has a facebook can find info about our site. It's been on there for awhile, and i've forgotten about it myself. I think if we could get a Facebook Button on the home page to link it, it may help promote the club even more
I used it regularly throughout the season to push out news, results, and photos but our readership is low. If you're a Facebook user, make sure you "like" the page and see if you can get others to do the same. It helps spread the word about the club.
I'd just like to add that Facebook is a really easy way to get a message out to people. Tons of people are already on Facebook, especially younger people, and getting them hooked in is as simple as them looking for the clib and clicking "like". From there, they get eerything we push out - pictures, videos, news, results. If we have to make up new promo materials for the club, they should include "Like Batavia Kart Club on Facebook" on them. These days it's as important as a website.
Good point, We need more brochures for the promotional shows so we got to make a point to add that. We will be putting a new brochure together directly after the banquet.
