Weather forcast does not look good for tomarrow. Here's the local forcast. http://www.whec.com/forecast/
If a decision is made early could Mr. President post it.

Because of the weather forcast and the decision of GVKC not to race in the rain Hank And I have decided NOT to race tomorrow. I know some of you are on the fence but the forcast will not give us enough time to get a program in. Its not my decision on wether you travel to the track or not so I cannot "call" the race. If you let me know your intensions it might be possibe to reschedule.

Why wouldn't we just follow the rules already in place?

WET WEATHER RACING

When wet weather racing is allowed at a scheduled facility the BKC will contribute up to, but not exceed 100.00 dollars to off set the track race day fees if all criteria is met.
A minimum of five member racers are needed to run a wet wether program.
There must be enough corner workers available to provide a safe racing environment.
In the event there are NOT enough corner workers the event will be cancelled.
No makeup event will be scheduled.
The racers are responsible to pay the balance of all track fees.

absolutely follow the rules, My problem is I don't have drivers except myself. If there are enough members who want to race the club will back you as per the rules.

A make up suggestion would be a Saturday as Avon rums the circle track carts in the am. We could start at about noon if we can work it out with GVKC

It was a great day (other than the weather) of racing today. Our junior drivers did a great job in less than perfect conditions. Thanks to the folks at Avon for keeping the track open for us and keeping the snack bar open. Special thanks to the corner workers for standing in the rain while we all did our best Hans Stuck impersonation.

Hey Jacob don't get discouraged I feel the same way. Alot of it is our experience @ a little has to do with weight. In time we both will be doing better and challenging others for a good finish. Just to let you know you ran very good @ I had a hard time getting enough speed out of TIRED IRON to pass you. Practice @ exercise helps
On the other hand Sunday was the best here. Racing(trying on my part)against Jr. was worth a first place here.I tried to follow his lines and arround I went.Rain X is something I will invest in;the finger wiper made thing worst or was it Wills tires throwing gallons of water in my way Don

RainX is a must, and some oil-free towels for drying the visor. I love the rain, it's too bad I couldn't make it.
