United States Grand Prix wins prestigious sports award
The 2012 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at Austin's Circuit of The Americas has won the coveted 'Sports Event of the Year' award at the 2013 SportsBusiness Journal/Daily Business awards in New York.
The race, which attracted 265,000 fans to the brand new $400million Texan venue last November, beat off competition from the 2012 Ryder Cup, the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals and 2012 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials to scoop the award

Practice Two - Rosberg heads Mercedes 1-2 in Monaco
Nico Rosberg continued his domination of Monaco practice on Thursday afternoon, ending the second session 0.318s clear of Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton.
The German, who also topped the times in the morning session, lapped in 1m 14.759s, with Hamilton's 1m 15.077s just pipping Fernando Alonso's 1m 15.196s for Ferrari
